Melancholy

Sometime a few years ago, I’d an insight that a vast majority of the images I make are either travel-scapes or landscapes. Since then, I’ve been wanting to upgrade my wide-angle lens and get the filters of my choice. After agonizing over a year and a half, I finally decided to let go and ended up purchasing Singh-Ray filters and a Canon 17-40 f/4. lens.

This was the first outing to test both the lens and the ND filter’s capabilities. We planned on going to Hoganekal but after reaching there were turned back by the cops as the falls were closed due to excessive water. To make use of the effort already put in, KRS dam was where we ended up. A very nice place for a little picnic. Weather was terrific for fun, but a little too windy to make images. I still could get a few.
